THE GROWING RACE TO ST. PHILIPS ON SUNDAY

It was a slow and wet start--

So far…. the beans are pacing the sunflower sprouts, the favorites, followed by the tiny water sprouts.

Aaaannnd they are going into the first turn about to show their roots on the road….looks like there’s no stopping them now… outside of a refrigerator freeze.

Now the sunny’s are next to the beans and gaining stem speed toward the St. Philips on Sunday finish line with every moment in the sun…..and they have water to spare. Watch out beans!

Wooooa and here come the water sprouts from the rear. They are little and slow starters but they are gaining on the beans and the sunny’s at a fast pace that can only be halted by yes, the winners flag!

You heard it right folks, the race has ended early with the smallest, the water sprouts, racing ahead of the favorites from a dead heat to seize the winner’s cup in this Classic Road Race to Sunday at St. Philips. The magnificent micro, sunflower sprouts, pushing off their hulls in second place and stretching their roots out to the finish line flag, ahead of the beaten but beautiful bean sprouts.

Congratulations water sprouts, you have won the 2018, FoodinRootinapolis 500mm Sprout Cup Race!

And it looks like there will be enough sprouts for everyone on Sunday at St Philips at the finish line at the Garden Goddess booth, 9am-1pm you guessed it…at St. Philips on Sunday.
