YIKES, GREEN STRIPES EVERYWHERE AND A HINT OF MINT!!

Beautiful Gardeners,

I was out in my herb and vegetable gardens this morning and was amazed to see how productive my Green Striped Armenian cucumber plants are! If you haven’t tried these cucumbers, you are in for a green stripped surprise. They have a tender, tasty skin and flesh, no matter what size they are. There is still time to plant them from seed or just pop in a beautiful transplant. If transplanting, be gentle, because the heat is fierce! I’m sure a little shade cloth for a few days will help keep your transplanted Green Stripped Armenian cumbers cool.

Check out your mint too. If it has flowers and you don’t want it to spread, remove the flowers. The mint still has a good flavor and the flowers are a nice garnish in food and teas. You could even put a little mint on your Green Stripped Cukes!

Bon Appetite BG’s
